From 29 to 31 March 2011 there will be an international exhibition and conference in Amersfoort in the area of railway technology called, “the Rail-Tech Europe”.
The first day of the conference focuses on the realisation of investments in (new) projects at the time of budget constraints. To this end, other forms of financing will be discussed and other possibilities to speed up decision-making will be looked at. The second day will focus on operational efficiency by optimising the overall system performance and balancing the interests of the two subsystems. The third day is devoted to the developments in the South African railway industry, including a speech of Joel Sibusiso Ndebele, the South African Minister of Transport.
